:(( - Oval Brush Review

Hey guys!

Alright, I will be honest I am SO disappointed. I honestly can't even recommend this. It's something we all see all over Youtube, Instagram, and probably Twitter, too. It's got a ton of knockoffs (which this is one), and a lot of fakes. But still, here we are. It's this:

Now let me back up: I mentioned that it isn't an original HOWEVER I have no issues with knockoffs/fakes/unoriginals. In fact, I think many unoriginal products can be better than their original counterparts. The fact that this is a knockoff has no correlation to how bad it sucks as a useful product.

My issues:

I have a few! First and foremost, it leaves nothing but patchy, uneven, streaky applications behind. I use liquid foundation most of the time and I thought this would be just fine for it. I was wrong. I changed my foundation to a different one, still liquid, but had the same results. Finally, I changed it to a powder, and it basically places it where ever you first lay the brush to the skin. It doesn't spread/blend anything, and it doesn't lay evenly whatsoever. 

My solution:

Just not using it. I really, genuinely dislike this product. It isn't worth the very small price, and it's basically a waste of time. It has a ton of 5 star reviews, but I can't determine their honesty seeing as it doesn't live up to even a portion of what they say.

So today, I have another amazing product from SwissVita. It's this cleanser:

I'll post more informative images to get the idea:

Now it looks small, but rest assured it's a pretty large tube. And even better, a little goes a very long way. I have had this for quite some time and have barely gone an inch down the tube. It's awesome.

Loves?

It works

It cleans well

It's so big

It uses well

It lathers nicely

It has no scent

The results are nice (I have had fewer breakouts, and my skin is just generally improved since incorporating this into my routine)

And concerns?

I say concerns because you may dislike it, but it's a very thick cleanser before you lather. It's almost like icing. But I promise that hardly matters when your skin starts loving you for what you're doing!

This product contains a few active ingredients that are said to improve a ton upon the skin. I haven't done my thorough research so I don't want to throw my information out there, but I recommend checking it out. It's pretty interesting and makes this product more appealing!

I have reviewed a product of there's before (#2 here), and I really love what they do. I recommend giving them a shot, I know you won't regret it!

3 Item Review! - Appliance Edition

Hey guys!

So today, I have 3 products I want to introduce. They're all basic things, but they're better versions (or a good alternative) that I recommend. Let's go!

Item #1: Fan

Now I wanted to keep the titles simple and vague, because they are simple every day items and i needed to emphasize on them within their reviews.

This little fan, and it is pretty small, is actually a very impressive one! I love it because...
It's small
Its (extremely) portable
It has different setting
It works!
It charges quickly
Color options
Long-lasting battery (that it comes with)
Easy to clean
Easy to use

There's no dislikes at all, and this is the best portable, rechargeable fan I have ever used. I love it!

Item #2: Cables

Of course everyone uses charging cables, I mean unless you have the wireless charging, in which case I am jealous. But chances are, you still use the old wire to do it. No problem! But if you are, I suggest having a few, and having a variety. That's why I like these. They...

Come in 4 different sizes

Stay connected

I cannot emphasize too greatly, after all they are just cords, but I do recommend them. Like I said, they come in a set of 4, and they are all different sizes. They are perfect for people like me who are in a dorm with oddly places outlets.I have a cord for any length! They're pretty great overall.

Item #3: Chopper

It's kind of funny, excuse my lame humor, but when I think of chopper I think of a bike or motorcycle. Ah, moving on. This is a food chopper! I know we have all seen them either in stores or online, maybe even those lame infomercials we all hate but secretly pay way too much attention to. I love this because...

Easy to store, too!

The best plus, is that there's no negatives! It's pretty great.

I love this for all those reasons, and I don't know how exactly to rave about it!

Things Are Heating Up - Willow & Everett Electric Tea Kettle Review

Hey guys!

So I am in love with this beauty:

This little thing is an electric tea kettle.

Now, I've never had an electric tea kettle, I have barely had a normal one (by the same company, mind you!). This was a very pleasant surprise when it works like a dream-- and I get to use it in my college dorm!

What do I love?

As I mentioned, I can use it in the dorm. I mentioned that because it's got an auto-off switch. Score!

It's very stylish

And modern

It heats up so quickly

It has minimal burn hazards, or opportunities to burn I guess I should say

The long spout makes pouring easy

The lid stays on very well

It doesn't take up a ton of space

Any dislikes?

None! I literally have no complaints, it's a great products!

Lit - 2 Item Review

Hey guys!

I've got two things for you today, and though they aren't related or by the same company, I think it's safe to say that electronics can be grouped. That being said, I think these things are pretty great (er..can be).

Item #1: JASTEK Lighted Multi USB Cable

What I love?

I love that it has more options than just the one type. It's got an android, apple, type c, and mini charging head, as well as the USB cable. They aren't very long but I think long enough to get by. I think the lighting feature is pretty interesting, too!

Dislikes?

I don't have nay dislikes per say, however I do feel as though this out falls short in comparison to it's counter piece that I reviewed before, number 8 found here. The other has more color which I like because it helps with differentiating, one extra attachment (extra android head), and though I like the lighted part, it just wasn't what I expected and I preferred without.

Though this isn't what I prefer, it's still extremely useful so that you don't need to carry long cords every where you go, just clip this onto something and you're set!

Item #2: 100 FT. Ball String Light

What do I love?

The concept.

Unfortunately, I didn't so much enjoy the product. They did not stay plugged in, nor did they work consistently. The prongs aren't fit well for american plugs, but (though it's unsafe), if you pinch together the prongs they stay slightly better. The issue with light consistency still remains. They're cool because they have different settings and when they work they give off a nice glow, but they just fell short.

This is no hit on the company, however, because they offered a replacement and worked with me on this. I am thankful, and they're a good company to work with purchasing wise. I heard great things so mine may have been defective, but I can't yet attest to that.

These products both have good concepts, but may fall short in terms of "which would I choose". I still recommend them, especially the JASTEK products.
